A quick intro

I’m a designer and artist, based in East London, UK, specialising in theatre, with sidelines in activism, folk music, writing and teaching. My artistic interests are wide-ranging but often lie around queerness, ecology, social change and the creative process itself. Though I started my professional career in costume (as an assistant at Shakespeare’s Globe) most of my work now focuses on combined set and video design, often involving integrated captions, and installations that incorporate video - sometimes interactively. I’m also committed to working sustainably and have become very involved with promoting ecological thinking in the theatre. I'm a member of Equity and the SBTD, where I'm a committee member. I'm also a signatory to the Ecostage pledge and a director of Ecostage.
